Get Reehl / Get Davis (GRGD) is a highly respected commercial agency representing top production companies like Furlined, Skunk, Chelsea and Cap Gun Collective. Their clients have directed culturally iconic ads, including “Like a Girl” and TV spots for major brands like Taco Bell, Vimeo and Apple. With their outstanding track record of excellence, GRGD wanted a brand on par with its industry relevance.
Polyculture worked with the GRGD team to refresh its brand identity and bring a new vision to life in a way that would signal artistic confidence and organizational maturity.
We developed a high-contrast red and black mark that paid homage to GRGD’s original logo, but reflected the value GRGD provides for its clients: clarity and distinction in the talent-search process.
This design-direction translated into a website built largely around whitespace and made to offer glimpses into the talent roster’s work through a hover effect.
We also created a page where users could easily identify female directors on company roster and access their work, so GRGD could give users a tangible way of helping women achieve equal opportunities in the film industry.
GRGD is now positioned in a way that matches their successful track record and is rolling out their new brand in April 2019.
